A bold claim, but anyone who has tried their coffee will not dispute this. We were going to visit the Lovingly Artisan bakery in the same food park last year and while researching the area we came across this inimitable gem. Whatever we have tried here, we have found to be out of this world. They are real specialists, and the shop is very well stocked with coffee beans from around the world. The ladies staffing the place are extremely knowledgeable about their wares and make recommendations about which beans to use for your particular cup of coffee. Service is unhurried, and they are really very in tune with their products and with what they do – very obvious expertise. I particularly enjoy their Casa (house) beans for my espresso. Their hot chocolate is also very luscious. Very reasonably priced too given the supreme quality of their coffee. Pity there is nowhere to sit and enjoy their coffee (other than a couple of bistro chairs outside) so essentially this is a takeaway only. They also sell coffee paraphernalia. Their coffee pairs admirably with delicious pastries from the Lovingly Artisan Bakery a few yards away. The place is now a must-do stop on our every visit to the Lakes. Very Highly Recommended – you won’t go back to any of the big coffee chains once you have been here!

Rinaldo's provides excellent tea and coffee in addition to high quality brewing equipment including high end gear for home brewing. It also has its own roastery and is surrounded by the beautiful Lake District with easy access from Kendal and ample free parking.. I visited Rinaldo's 3 weeks ago to collect an espresso machine and grinder, both from ECM plus some accessories because I wanted to brew some decent coffee at home. As I was a complete novice, Rinaldo set up the machines for me and spent over 1 hour explaining how to get the best out of the machines, including how to adjust them correctly when confronted with a different type of coffee. He then used the machine to produce quite the best espresso I had ever tasted! A tour of the establishment followed, including the roastery and and a machine like my one cut cleanly through the middle which helped me understand the mechanics, and crucially how to care for it correctly. Rinaldo gave me a free competition shower screen and silicone gasket which he explained would last longer and be easier to clean than the original one. I found him friendly and easy to talk to and he helped me clear up a few points on the phone a couple of weeks later. Rinaldo has an extensive knowledge of all things coffee and I would like to attend one of his barista courses at a later date, (fully booked currently). I can thoroughly recommend him to anyone interested in superb tea, coffee and/ or brewing gear.

Loved the flat white and the taste of their own roast blend - the award winning Casa espresso coffee. Then treat yourself with a perfect accompaniment like a pastry or sweet from one of the other artisan stores in the foodie haven.

An absolute pleasure to shop here for coffee beans & a Casa signature coffee to go from the Expresso Bar. Fantastic, friendly service is an added bonus.

I’ve tried the espresso, latte, cappuccino, and hot chocolate at Rinaldo’s, all of them were excellent. The coffee beans they roast in-house are simply magical. They offer a wide range of coffee options, and the prices are very reasonable compared to other shops. It’s my personal favourite coffee spot and truly a hidden gem in Kendal. The customer service is exceptional, the ladies there are always welcoming and comforting. There’s also plenty of parking available near the shop, which makes the visit even more convenient.

This is a great coffee emporium. Has a great range of coffees - ground and whole bean, some very impressive machines as well as some basic but good value coffee making products. The range of machines are particularly impressive. I bough a quality moka pot and some beans, both of which were very reasonably priced. I did not sample their espresso but will definitely be returning for a coffee l soon.
